The Goal: Cultivate self-competence. Develop lifelong sports skills to increase the likelihood that children will continue to recreate all throughout life.
Franchises: Unfortunately all children do not excel at sports, even with regular practice. Focusing solely on sports skills with early exposure to competitive games is not recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Sports programs ignore the other important components of fitness necessary for health and future recreation.
KID-FIT: All children are offered a wide variety of sports skills throughout the year. Preschoolers are exposed to brief, fun encounters with different age appropriate equipment and non-competitive play. Children are rewarded for trying whether or not they are proficient.
