Unfortunately all children do not excel at sports, even with regular practice. Focusing solely on sports skills and early exposure to competitive games is not recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Sports programs leave out too many other important components of fitness necessary for health and future recreation.
All children are presented with a wide variety of sports skills throughout the year. Preschoolers are exposed to brief, fun encounters with a wide variety of different age appropriate sports equipment and non-competitive play. Children are rewarded for trying and have hands on experience with all kinds of sports equipment.
